About Robin Rotenier
A third generation fashion designer and first generation in jewelry, Robin Rotenier was born and raised in Paris. In 1993, as Robin says "I had a creative urge. The business side of me wanted to do something entrepreneurial while the creative side of me wanted to design". Encouraged by everyone around him, he started his own jewelry design business simply titled "Robin Rotenier". He expanded on his Parisian education by studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) for which he graduated in 1993. In 2006, FIT awarded him the Mortimer C. Ritter Design Award for excellence in design - Robin was the first jewelry designer to ever receive the honor and joined the alumni of other past award recipients like Calvin Klein and Norma Kamali.
